Wood Furniture and Cabinet Finisher

Wood furniture manufacturer and cabinet shop has an opening for an EXPERIENCED PRODUCTION FINISHER.

You MUST have at least three years experience working in a carpentry shop, and your experience must be in working with stains, paints and lacquers.

We require clean work areas and a consistent pace of production.

Position Requires:

• Minimum of 3 years experience finishing millwork
• Must be able to finish production furniture at a quick pace as well as taking the necessary time for higher end furniture and cabinetry
• Must be able to work on multiple projects at one time while working in a fast paced environment and able to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of trade chemicals – their uses, interactions, dangers, production techniques and disposal methods
• Must be able to mix paint and “color match” to client’s specifications using dyes, stains or tinted lacquers as needed.
• Read and speak English – other languages a plus.
• Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs; push, pull and maneuver product
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must be able to work independently AND as a team player -Must be organized, a self-starter and efficient with minimal direction
• Must be able to read and understand shop drawings

• Valid Driver’s License and automobile

Starting pay will be based on knowledge and experience.
